Reminds me of the story of the gullible gulls (true) who, for years, flew every morning and evening into the land fill to eat and when the land fill closed they flew around in circles looking for their free handout until most of them starved.  Government giveaways create a population of those so dependent on the daily handout that all incentive to better themselves has vanished. Nothing destroys the human spirit more than the philosophy that they can be taken care of by someone besides themselves.  I don’t know if it’s too late, but if this gimme, gimme, gimme attitude is not turned around soon, the producers will stop producing and the consumers will find themselves flying around in circles looking for something to eat.

A soul who willingly and knowingly, gets his sustenance from the sweat of his fellow man, when he could take care of himself, has neither self-respect nor character

God help us as long as Reed, Pelosi and Obama are in the government.

Abraham Lincoln Saw The Perversion in Washington.

“We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts; not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert it,”   – Abraham Lincoln.

Never in the history of this great land has our God Ordained Constitution been perverted so blatantly and so frequently as it has by this incompetent, community organizing president.  For this arrogant Barack Obama to suggest that he may have anything in common with the great emancipator is hypocrisy in its purest form.  How long do we stand by and watch the greatest constitution of the greatest country filled with the greatest people be perverted, mocked and insulted.  Thanks to the leadership vacuum in the Executive branch of the American Democracy, this country’s image in the eyes of the world is a disaster.

Help For The Downtrodden Comes Not By Coercion

I had the rare but enlightening experience a numbers of months back to listen to a liberal talk show.  I believe the fellows name was Tom Hartman.  A caller made the comment that what Republicans do not realize is that Thomas Jefferson was the driving force behind the birth of the Democratic party.  I wanted to, but did not, call in to remind that caller that the Democratic Party in Jefferson’s day bears absolutely no resemblance to today’s party of liberal idealogy.  Case in point:  Jefferson said, “To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.”  Today’s democratic party has mastered the doctrine of the dole as well as consistently holding to world views, most of which are in direct conflict with Jefferson’s political and personal views.  I give regularly, VOLUNTARILY, to help the downtrodden and those gifts come both in the form of money as well as time.  To take the fruit of my labor and distribute as a handout to pay for socially destructive government giveaways is, as Jefferson says, “sinful and tyrannical.  True help for those who need it most has and will continue to come from the hearts of Americans everywhere who voluntarilly give so much to the poor and who recognize that giving money to the government to help the poor is like asking a hungry wolf to carry a steak dinner to Little Red Riding Hood.   The Obama Government has become the monstrous enemy of the poor.  I will never forget Obama’s words in his first election: “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”  If Republicans had any guts they would fundamentally transform America by refusing to change the debt ceiling.  That, my friends, would bring about a transformation in America that would be one thousand times better than the one we have had thrust upon us by this inept, narcissistic community organizer.

Relax and enjoy the Obamacare Titanic

Republicans need to relax and watch this monstrosity implode. Common Sense, of which liberals are void, is broadcasting with a clear and decisive clarion call that the future of this poorly written, superficially understood, and ill fated law starts tomorrow on its rapid descent to join the Hindenburg. It will not take any action on the part of politicians in Washington to hasten the laws demise. It is an unmanageable monster of such cumbersome facets that even the IRS, especially the IRS, will find themselves in more water than they can tread. The affordable Care Act is doomed and the biggest losers will be the American citizens it was intended to support. The idealogy of liberalism operates in a vacuum where reality repeatedly has the proverbial door slammed in her face. Classic Example: Funding $400M of our money to Solyndra. If producing solar energy as proposed by this behmouth of failure, was a viable project, private industry would have made it succeed. Not so. Liberalism is a mental disorder!!
